IVF or In Vitro Fertilization is a series of procedures that is performed to aid conception, treat fertility issues, prevent genetic problems, etc. IVF is the process of collection of mature eggs from ovaries and further fertilized by a healthy sperm in lab. Fertilized eggs or the embryo are then transferred to the uterus of the woman willing to conceive. The process may take longer as fertility experts might split it into different steps.
